Skoda Vietnam opens October with award recognition, nationwide promotions and community engagement under the "Let’s Explore" theme. The Skoda Kodiaq won the “Favorite Car of the Year” at the Better Choice Award 2025 (October 3), while special offers and extended warranties are available across models.

The brand also joined a Quảng Ninh exhibition, organized a cultural trip to the Czech Republic marking Skoda’s 130 years, and will participate in key national anniversaries throughout October.

Skoda Vietnam officially introduced the Skoda Slavia on September 11, 2025. Built at the Thanh Cong Viet Hung factory, the Slavia is a new B-class sedan that brings European-inspired design, MQB chassis technology, a 1.0L TSI engine and advanced safety features including a Global NCAP 5‑star rating.

The model is available in three versions (Style, Ambition, Active) and was validated by a 70,000 km cross‑country test. September promotional prices: Style 511 million VND, Ambition 475 million VND, Active 421 million VND.

Skoda Vietnam has opened two new northern sites: the Skoda Quang Ninh Experience Center and the Skoda Bac Giang Showroom, both operating from July 2025. The Quang Ninh center features a digital showroom, 180-degree vehicle displays and customer lounge areas. The Bac Giang showroom offers sales, after-sales service and genuine parts, and hosted a launch event and handover on July 27, 2025.

On July 12, 2025, Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Lukáš Vlček visited Thanh Cong Viet Hung automobile factory in Quang Ninh to review strategic cooperation between Thanh Cong Group and Skoda Auto. The plant, inaugurated on March 26, 2025, is the first Skoda factory in Southeast Asia and has a designed capacity of 120,000 vehicles per year. The Skoda Kushaq, assembled there, launched in Vietnam on June 28, 2025.

On June 1 in Ha Long city, a meeting responding to World Environment Day and Action Month for the Environment 2025 was held, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment with Quang Ninh province under the theme “Fighting plastic pollution.”

On December 28, Tien Son Thanh Hoa Group in collaboration with Skoda Vietnam opened the Skoda Thanh Hoa dealer at Tien Son Building, No. 1A Le Loi Avenue, Dong Huong Ward, Thanh Hoa City. Skoda Auto is presenting measures and projects to preserve and restore biodiversity at its production sites worldwide. The company plans to plant more than 70,000 trees in 2023 through its 'Skoda Trees' programme, has launched the Krakonoš Gardens funding initiative, and runs habitat and reforestation projects in India. These efforts are part of the GreenFuture strategy, which includes targets such as net-zero emissions at three Czech plants by 2030.

The Modern Solid design language defines Skoda today and will shape upcoming electric models. The Skoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav presents “The Design Language of L&K and Skoda Cars”, tracing design from early Laurin & Klement vehicles through postwar prototypes to recent concepts such as Vision 7S and Vision iV.

Skoda's Úhelnice crash test laboratory near Mladá Boleslav houses a nearly 200-meter hall and systems for frontal, side, rear and head-on collision testing. The facility uses a 600 kW propulsion system and a 250 kW lighting rig to enable high-speed filming and extensive sensor data capture.

The laboratory supports development and homologation testing, including Euro NCAP and other regional protocols, and retains tested vehicles and data for verification.

Since its earliest days, Škoda and its predecessor Laurin & Klement developed simple, practical solutions that made vehicles more usable — from moisture‑resistant bearings and an engine mounted under the motorcycle frame to removable rear sections and integrated tools. Many of these early ideas foreshadowed today’s Simply Clever details.

Formally introduced in 2003, the Simply Clever concept groups dozens of small innovations (more than 60 by the 21st century) and continues to evolve in modern models such as the electric Enyaq iV.

Skoda has been assigned to develop the EA 211 family of internal combustion engines — both MPI and TSI — for 50 model lines across the Volkswagen Group's seven volume brands. The responsibility expands Skoda's role from MPI-only development to the full EA 211 range.

Built on a century-long engine tradition in Mladá Boleslav, the move will create nearly 150 new technical positions and aims to deliver more efficient, lower-emission engines for global markets.

The Vrchlabí components plant became Skoda Auto's first CO2-neutral production site worldwide at the end of 2020. Through energy-efficiency measures and a switch to renewable energy, site emissions fell from 45,000 tonnes per year to 3,000 tonnes.

The remaining emissions are offset via certificates. Around 90% of the plant's energy now comes from renewable sources, supported by heat recovery, recycling and use of CO2-neutral methane from biogas.

Skoda Auto DigiLab hosted the Smart Mobility Hackathon in Prague (12–14 April 2019), bringing together 22 teams from 13 countries to develop mobility and connectivity solutions. The winning team Herfat Father received the €5,000 prize for Gulliver, an emotion-based route-planning app. Skoda Auto DigiLab awarded team MAASTERS a partnership prize for a used-car price prediction algorithm and a place at EcoMotion Week 2019 in Tel Aviv.

Škoda Auto will support the Tour de France (1–24 July 2022) as official vehicle partner for the 19th time, providing 250 vehicles for organisers, race management and support. The all‑electric Enyaq iV will serve as the command 'Red Car' on 16 of the 21 stages.
