Škoda Kodiaq wins Favorite Car at Better Choice Awards 2025
Hanoi, October 3, 2025 — Škoda Kodiaq model of Škoda Vietnam was officially honored in the category \"Favorite Car of the Year\" at the Better Choice Awards 2025 held at the National Innovation Center (NIC).
The Better Choice Awards is organized by VCCorp in collaboration with the National Innovation Center. The awards combine community voting and expert assessment to recognize products that bring practical value to consumers.
After winning the Best New Car Brand category at the 2024 awards, Škoda Vietnam was again honored. Kodiaq received 26,367 consumer votes, the highest number recorded for this category.
The Kodiaq has also earned international accolades, including Auto Express New Car Awards' Large SUV of the Year and Auto Bild Germany's Car of the Year 2025. In 2024 global sales reached 114,500 vehicles, with 64,800 sold in the first half of 2025.
Introduced to Vietnam in 2023, the Kodiaq serves as a flagship model to establish Škoda’s presence. Škoda Vietnam has introduced locally assembled Kushaq and Slavia to improve accessibility to European-standard models.
The imported new-generation Kodiaq features a 2.0L turbocharged engine producing 190 hp, a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), full-time four-wheel drive (AWD) and DCC Plus adaptive chassis. It meets Euro NCAP five-star safety standards with seven airbags and advanced driver assistance features such as automatic emergency braking and crew protection systems.
The Favorite Car of the Year award affirms the model's quality and European character and supports TC Motor's continued investment and cooperation to bring European-standard products and services closer to Vietnamese consumers.
