Applicable warranty subjects
Services and damages not covered by warranty
- Damages caused by environmental or natural conditions, impacts such as fire, explosion, flooding, stone blasts, hail, storms, sand, floods, earthquakes, lightning, acid rain, other natural disasters and damage caused by animals.
- Damages caused by repairs, adjustments, connection of non-genuine accessories, unauthorized conversions from the original design such as changing capacity or structure….
- Surface damage caused by factors beyond control such as cigarette butts, chemicals, animal feces, tree sap, salt and other similar factors.
- Damages caused by loss, theft…
- Damages arising from the use of the vehicle not in compliance with the technical requirements and periodic maintenance schedule as prescribed by the Distributor.
- Damages arising from the use of non-genuine spare parts, accessories, lubricants, solutions, additives with technical specifications different from those stated in the user manual.
- Damages occurring due to misuse and abuse of the vehicle: Driving in harsh conditions such as racing (official or unofficial), driving on rough roads, overloading, using and maintaining not according to the instructions in the user manual.
- Damages resulting from the intentional continued use of the vehicle after detecting a warning from the system (Please refer to the vehicle user manual).
- Repairs or additional components at Dealers not authorized by the Distributor or technicians not designated by the Distributor
- Maintenance costs, spare parts that are subject to natural wear and tear or need to be replaced or periodically adjusted during use are not covered by the warranty.
- Natural wear and tear details that are not covered by the warranty include and are not limited to: spark plugs, lubricants, solutions, filters, belts, brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, rubber parts, fuses, light bulbs, key batteries, etc.
Minor vibrations and noises under certain conditions and not affecting the function and performance of the vehicle are not considered damage and are not covered by the warranty.
- Changing the operating mechanism on the dashboard display or the ODO index is unidentifiable, or inconsistent with previous records.
- Interfering with the electrical system, control box on the vehicle without the authorization of the Distributor or a technician not designated by the Distributor.
- Disassembling, installing spare parts, accessories, updating software…. not in accordance with Skoda’s repair instructions
All towing costs, business opportunities, living expenses, accommodation, etc. and other costs and damages (if any) arising from vehicle damage are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty procedures
To ensure professionalism and convenience for the Customer
Authorized Dealer will be entitled and understood that the Customer has authorized the Dealer to conduct all necessary methods according to the Distributor's standards to check and diagnose damages on the vehicle.
The Authorized Dealer will assist the Customer in making a warranty claim with the Distributor. You need to bring:
- Warranty Book with full records of information related to the periodic maintenance performed according to the Distributor's regulations.
- Vehicle key.
- Vehicle registration.
- Replacement and installation invoice if parts and accessories are warranted.
