ŠKODA VIETNAM HOLDS THE Q1 2026 NATIONAL DEALER CONFERENCE

On March 27, 2026, at the Shilla Monogram Đà Nẵng Resort, Škoda Vietnam successfully held the Q1 2026 National Dealer Conference. The event was attended by the leadership of Thành Công Group (TC Group), the management board of Škoda Vietnam, and representatives from authorized dealerships nationwide.

The conference reviewed business performance in 2025 while also unveiling key strategic directions, demonstrating the strong determination of the leadership team to strengthen Škoda’s position and drive the sustainable development of the brand in the Vietnamese market.

Looking Back at 2025: Determination for a New Phase of Development

The year 2025 marked an important turning point for Škoda in Vietnam and demonstrated the strong commitment of Thành Công Group. Despite facing complex economic fluctuations, the Group successfully achieved several key milestones: officially commencing operations of the Thành Công Việt Hưng Automobile Plant in March 2025 and consecutively launching locally manufactured models, including the Škoda Kushaq and Slavia.

In addition, the lineup of completely built-up imported vehicles was further expanded with the introduction of the new-generation Kodiaq, Karoq, and Octavia RS. By the end of 2025, Škoda Vietnam recorded positive sales growth, while its dealership network continued to expand across all three regions of the country.

These achievements clearly demonstrate TC Group’s serious investment in building a solid foundation spanning manufacturing infrastructure, supply chains, and distribution systems.

Long-Term Vision from the Chairman of Thành Công Group

In his keynote speech at the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thành Công Group, provided objective assessments regarding the brand’s positioning in Vietnam. He emphasized that the partnership with Škoda Auto is not a short-term project, but rather a long-term strategic investment aligned with the development orientation of the automotive industry.

The Chairman of Thanh Cong Group also candidly acknowledged that the brand’s biggest challenge today does not lie in product quality, but in brand awareness within the market. To address this issue, he outlined three strategic priorities for the next phase:

  • Long-term investment in manufacturing and products: Continue optimizing locally produced vehicle models, adjusting equipment and features to better suit the preferences of Asian and Vietnamese consumers, while ensuring European-standard quality at the most competitive pricing..
  • Building the Škoda brand in Vietnam: Clearly position Škoda as a trusted European automotive brand while increasing investment in communication and marketing campaigns to strengthen consumer confidence..
  • Developing the dealership network into strategic partners: Work closely with dealerships to standardize services and customer experiences under the spirit of "sharing challenges together and seizing opportunities together".

Decisive Action Plan for 2026 from the CEO of Škoda Vietnam

Turning the Group’s vision into concrete action, Mr. Dam Dinh Thong, CEO of Škoda Vietnam, presented an overall picture of the market along with detailed operational targets for 2026. Assessing that Vietnam has truly entered the “motorization era,” with market volume reaching nearly 450,000 vehicles per year and a growing shift toward new-energy vehicles, the CEO emphasized that the entire system must demonstrate both flexibility and strong determination.

  • Refreshing the CBU product lineup: In April 2026, Škoda Vietnam will introduce impressive updated versions of the brand’s completely built-up imported vehicles to the domestic market. This will further enhance the competitiveness of Škoda’s premium European-imported models in Vietnam..
  • Accelerating the transition to new-energy vehicles: Prepare the foundation for changing market trends through plans to introduce the brand’s first new-energy vehicle products to Vietnam in 2026. This will provide domestic customers with the opportunity to experience Škoda’s top-quality European electric vehicles.
  • Ensuring spare parts supply and strengthening aftersales service capabilities: Starting from Q2, Škoda Vietnam will continue to deepen and expand cooperation with partners in spare parts supply, reaffirming its strong commitment to timely parts availability at reasonable costs. At the same time, the company will further enhance service workshop operations, using aftersales quality as a key lever to support sales activities.
