Skoda Vietnam was awarded "Outstanding New Car Brand" at the Better Choice Award 2024 on October 2, 2024, winning 11,521 community votes. The award is organized by VCCorp in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and combines public voting with expert assessment.
The recognition coincides with Skoda Vietnam's first anniversary since its official launch and highlights its early market traction and plans for expansion.
The Better Choice Award honors new brands that positively impact Vietnamese consumers. Skoda won the category for brands launched within the past two years with a total of 11,521 community votes.
Mr. Vu Manh Cuong, Marketing and Communications Director of Skoda Vietnam, said the award came as the company marked its first year in Vietnam, calling it an important milestone and motivation to continue bringing high-quality European products to Vietnamese customers.
Skoda Vietnam is expanding local production with the Thanh Cong Viet Hung factory in Quang Ninh and plans to introduce more models by 2025, while developing a nationwide dealer network to better serve customers.

The Better Choice Award is a prestigious annual event, organized by VCCorp in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, to honor outstanding new brands and products that have made positive contributions to Vietnamese consumers. The award is evaluated based on votes from the consumer community, combined with professional assessments from prestigious experts in the industry, creating objectivity and fairness.
This year, Skoda was nominated in the category of “Outstanding New Car Brand” for new car brands that have entered the Vietnamese market within the past 2 years and have made positive contributions to consumers. At the recent Awards Ceremony, Skoda won the absolute victory with 11,521 total votes from the community.

According to Mr. Cuong, Skoda Vietnam is implementing ambitious plans to meet the growing needs of the market. Starting with the opening of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung factory in Quang Ninh, Skoda believes that this will not only help increase production capacity and supply products to the market, but also create many job opportunities for local workers.
At the same time, Skoda Vietnam aims to expand its product range to meet diverse customer needs. Skoda will introduce more new models to the market by 2025, ranging from compact city cars to large SUVs.
