Hanoi, September 11, 2025, Skoda Vietnam officially introduced Skoda Slavia, a completely new B-class sedan manufactured at Thanh Cong Viet Hung automobile factory to Vietnamese customers. Inheriting Skoda Auto's sedan expertise, the Slavia brings amenities new to the segment, strong performance, advanced safety features and three optional versions, offering a European‑standard B-class choice for Vietnam.
Skoda's shared pride in Vietnam. Skoda Vietnam organized a national journey titled "From Independence to Reunification" covering nearly 2,500 km over seven days to connect the brand with Vietnamese customers. The launch coincides with Skoda's global 130th anniversary and three years since TC Group's strategic partnership with Skoda Auto began in September 2022.
The Thành Công Việt Hưng (TCVH) factory in Quảng Ninh, with a design capacity of 120,000 vehicles per year and operational from 2025-03-26, hosts local production. The first locally made model, the Skoda Kushaq, debuted on 2025-06-28; Slavia is the next model produced in Vietnam.
Testing and validation. Before the official launch, Slavia vehicles completed a cross‑country run of 70,000 km as part of pre‑launch validation, demonstrating durability and performance across varied terrain and conditions.
Design and dimensions. Slavia's design is inspired by Czech crystal craftsmanship with Skoda Crystalline lights and a "Less is more" philosophy. Key dimensions: 4,541×1,958×1,487 mm; wheelbase 2,651 mm; ground clearance 179 mm.
Interior and convenience. The cabin emphasizes comfort and practicality with a standard 521L trunk expandable to 1,050L, an 8" Visual Cockpit, a 10" infotainment screen, ambient lighting, cooled storage and advanced audio with eight speakers plus a subwoofer.
Powertrain and handling. The Slavia is offered with a 1.0L TSI turbo engine (115 PS, 178 Nm) paired with a 6‑speed manual or 6‑speed automatic. The car is tuned for Vietnamese driving conditions and features XDS/XDS+ active cornering support and an electronic differential lock (EDL) to improve stability and traction.
Safety. The model meets top safety standards with a Global NCAP 5‑star rating and active safety systems including emergency braking support, blind‑spot warning up to 70 m, brake drying and secondary collision prevention. Slavia also underwent Volkswagen Group durability tests such as SoSi, Hydropulse and EWP.
Simply Clever features. Slavia introduces segment‑first conveniences like 6‑way electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and Air Care filtration.

- Ambition — balanced performance, safety and comfort (Ambition price: 475,000,000 VND).
- Active — value choice with 6‑speed manual (Active price: 421,000,000 VND).

Warranty and maintenance. Skoda Vietnam and TC Group commit to long‑term support, parts availability and competitive service pricing. Skoda Vietnam estimates total maintenance cost up to 60,000 km at 24,934,000 VND, and customers receive free maintenance for the first 7,500 km.
Promotions. In September 2025, buyers receive an incentive equivalent to 100% of the registration fee for Slavia; Kushaq buyers receive incentives equivalent to 50% of the registration fee and additional gifts for earlier purchasers.
Skoda Vietnam positions the locally produced Kushaq and Slavia as competitive, value‑for‑money European options for Vietnamese customers.
