The Let's Drive test drive event by Skoda Vietnam was held in Buon Ma Thuot on November 4–5, 2023 at the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural Center (No. 2, Hung Vuong Street).
The event showcased Skoda's Kodiaq and Karoq SUVs, highlighting MQB-platform engineering, safety features and on-site test drives for customers.
Skoda presented the Kodiaq and Karoq imported from Europe, emphasising durability, smooth operation and high safety standards.
Both models use the MQB chassis platform (Modularer QuerBaukasten), which standardises transverse-engine architectures and helps ensure consistent build quality and occupant protection.
The Kodiaq is a 7-seat SUV aimed at family trips, with emphasis on space, multiple driving modes and on-road confidence demonstrated during test drives.

SUV duo Karoq and Kodiaq
Skoda Kodiaq and Karoq commercial versions in Vietnam are currently imported directly from Europe. To be manufactured in Europe, the models undergo thorough inspection and must meet strict quality standards, giving Kodiaq and Karoq durability, smooth operation and high safety standards.
The current Skoda Kodiaq and Karoq both use the MQB chassis. In German, MQB stands for Modularer QuerBaukasten, meaning a chassis platform for cars with transverse engines and gearboxes. The chassis uses ultra high strength steel in key body and floor areas to enhance occupant protection while keeping weight down.
Test drive the Kodiaq
Kodiaq is a 7-seat SUV. The vehicle's length is 4,697 mm, height is 1,681 mm and width is 1,882 mm. Ground clearance is 192 mm, wheelbase is 2,791 mm with front departure angle 19 degrees and rear departure angle 15.1 degrees.
Kodiaq Style is equipped with a 2.0 TSI Turbo engine with maximum power 180 hp and maximum torque 320 Nm in the 1,400–3,940 rpm range. The car accelerates 0–100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 207 km/h. This engine pairs with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch automatic and offers an all-wheel-drive system with multiple driving modes.
Kodiaq Ambition uses a 1.4 TSI Turbo engine with 150 hp and 250 Nm torque in the 1,500–3,500 rpm range, paired with a 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic.

Karoq test drive
Karoq is a dynamic 5-seat SUV with length 4,390 mm, height 1,603 mm and width 1,841 mm. Ground clearance is 164 mm and wheelbase is 2,630 mm. The Karoq is agile across varied terrain thanks to its departure angles and compact proportions.
Skoda Karoq is equipped with a 1.4 TSI Turbo engine producing 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque in the 1,500–3,500 rpm band. The car accelerates 0–100 km/h in 9.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 201 km/h. It pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission, offers four driving modes and steering-wheel shift paddles.
