Visit and Exchange with Thanh Cong - Viet Hung Factory
On May 30, 2025, the event took place in Quang Ninh with the coordination of Skoda Vietnam and the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association. The activity aimed to connect businesses and provide an opportunity to learn about the practical process of manufacturing cars to European standards in Vietnam.
The delegation of Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association comprised 70 delegates led by Mr. Tran Dang Nam, Chairman of the Association, with vice presidents Mr. Tran Huu Dong, Mr. Tran Van Minh and Mr. Nguyen Vu Tru.
From Thanh Cong Viet Hung Automobile Factory and Skoda Vietnam, representatives included Mr. Dam Dinh Thong, General Director of Skoda Vietnam; Mr. Do Nam Khang, Director of Dealer Development and Customer Care; and a team of Skoda Vietnam officers and employees.
The Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association visited Thanh Cong – Viet Hung, one of the most modern production facilities invested by Thanh Cong Group. The factory covers a total area of 36.5 hectares and has a capacity of 120,000 vehicles per year. The assembly line and technology are provided by leading international partners, and the site assembles Skoda Vietnam's CKD models.
A highlight of the program was the on-site test drive, where entrepreneurs experienced models such as the Kodiaq New Generation and New Karoq, and discussed development strategies, market trends and potential cooperation in the supporting industry with Skoda Vietnam representatives.
The event aimed to broaden the vision of young businesses, increase understanding of the domestic automobile industry's scale and potential, and promote connections between the business community and manufacturing and technology enterprises. It also demonstrated the growing strength of "Made in Vietnam" products meeting international standards.
The program allocated time for business-to-business trading and discussion in three thematic groups:
- Automobiles and support services
- Resort real estate and related services
- Civil and industrial real estate
Discussion sessions focused on developing distribution agents, participating in the supply chain, investment cooperation and infrastructure expansion. The atmosphere was open and constructive, reflecting mutual interest in concrete cooperation opportunities.
Skoda Vietnam announced a cooperation and development program to continue expanding its dealer system nationwide, aiming to build a broad distribution network to meet increasing market demand. Cooperating businesses can become dealers of a leading global car brand and receive preferential business terms and dedicated support.
