Skoda Octavia and Fabia win Auto motor und sport poll

Readers of Auto motor und sport voted the Skoda Octavia best in the compact import category and the Skoda Fabia best in the imported small-car category in the 47th “Best Cars” readers' poll.

More than 100,000 readers took part; the Octavia received 13.6% of votes, marking its 11th overall (and tenth consecutive) win in the category, while the Fabia took 16.9% and its second readers' victory since 2008.

Octavia: Eleventh Best Car win

The Octavia beat 29 competitors in the compact import ranking, receiving 13.6% of votes. The model is noted for its emotional design, spacious interior, active and passive safety, modern assistance systems and a wide range of drive configurations.

Fabia: Second readers' win

The Fabia won the imported small-car category with 16.9% of votes, beating 19 rivals. The fourth-generation Fabia combines dynamic design, generous interior space and efficient powertrains and is based on the Volkswagen Group MQB-A0 platform.

Mladá Boleslav, 9 February 2023 – Skoda is celebrating two victories in the ‘Best Car’ poll: Readers of the German trade magazine Auto motor und sport voted the Skoda Fabia first in the imported small car ranking, while the Octavia topped the compact import ranking. More than 100,000 readers voted for their favourite models among 422 models in 13 vehicle categories in the 47th “Best Cars” competition.
